How do I see My Pawns and Layaways?

First you need to create an account! Follow these steps to create an account:

Step 1: Download the MobilePawn app

Step 2: At the top left corner, tap on the 3 lines to open up the Menu.

Step 3: Tap "Store Finder"

Step 4: Type in our store's Zip Code (07306) and click search. When you see our shop's name pop up, H.Schoenberg Pawnbrokers & Jewelers, click on "JOIN STORE"

Step 5: Enter in your information and tap "Create an Account".
[ Please note, it's imperative that you submit the same information exactly how it is in our system. If you put any other information that does not match, you may encounter errors and may possibly not see any of your loans and layaways. If you make any changes to your name, address, phone number, or email address you MUST come to our store and submit the new information in writing for us to change so that the app can work for you. Step 6: That's it! You can tap "My Pawns" or "My Layaways" to see all active tickets in your account!

My Debit Card expired. How do I add a new card?

To add a new card, follow these steps:

Step 1: Make sure you have an account set up! Press the USER icon at the bottom center of the app (it looks like a little person). You should see your name, phone number and email address.

Step 2: Click on "View Account".

Step 3: You should see your "MobilePawn/Buya profiles", "Payment Options", "Addresses", and "Close your Account".

Click on "Payment Options" then "Add Card".

I paid my Pawn through the MobilePawn app... Now what?

Once we receive payment via the MobilePawn app, you should be able to go back into My Pawns and see your pawns with new ticket numbers and updated due dates.

Now that you've paid via the MobilePawn app, the ticket is LOCKED to the original Pledgor (the person whose name is on the Pawn Ticket). Only the Pledgor may redeem the pawn in-store, in-person, CASH ONLY payments. ID will be REQUIRED.

Can I pay for the interest with the MobilePawn app and pay the principal in person to claim the items on the same day?

Accepted Answer

Please do NOT pay for the interest on the MobilePawn app if you intend to claim the items on the same day!! You WILL be charged interest TWICE -- You will be charged for interest charges on the NEW ticket when you come in!!

I paid my pawn through the MobilePawn app- Can someone else get my items for me?

Accepted Answer

No. Only the original pledgor (the person whose name is on the pawn ticket) MUST come in with ID in order to claim the items, to renew or redeem in-person.

Remember, all payments in-store must be made with CASH ONLY.

Can I partially pay on My Pawns through the MobilePawn app?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, no. In order to pay partially, please pay in-store, in-person, CASH ONLY. ID and Tickets will be requested. You can pay your accrued Finance (Interest) Charge plus a portion towards your principal.

Please do NOT pay for the interest on the app if you plan to pay towards the loan in-person!!
